Small footprint aesthetics

The Quaint Sanctuary

Designing a very small home to feel high-end, calm and easy to keep.

Less to clean, more to love

A home for one should hold your life without holding you back. These are the principles behind every corner of my cottage.

Principle 01

Curate

Choose fewer, finer things. A linen sofa, one good lamp and a single favorite print feel richer than a room full of almost-right pieces.

Principle 02

Simplify

Give every item a home with closed storage, glass-front cabinets for pretty things and baskets for the rest. Clear surfaces make a small room breathe.

Principle 03

Savor

Keep space for daily rituals: a kettle on a clean counter, flowers on the table, a chair by the window. Small homes are made for slow mornings.
